How to Choose the Right Cage Size for Your Dog? To ensure comfort and safety during travel, you must choose a cage of the appropriate size - spacious enough for the dog to sit, stand, lie down, and turn around without difficulty, but not too large. The dog should not slide in the cage or be thrown around during the ride, as this poses a risk of injury.
